The Nakayamafuku Group – Linking Manufacturing and Daily Life

The Nakayamafuku Group is a business group that handles home-use products that help to realize stable, enriched lifestyles for consumers. Going forward, we will be strengthening governance and developing our wholesale, manufacturing, and e-commerce businesses, with the aim of achieving sustainable enhancement of corporate value.

The Nakayamafuku Group’s Business Model

We at the Nakayamafuku Group handle a wide range of products, from kitchen and dining products such as frying pans, through to storage solutions, interior decoration, and leisure and gardening products. Through our manufacturing business, wholesale business, and e-commerce business, we provide a comprehensive range of services covering everything from product planning and manufacturing through to sales, aiming to realize stable, enriched lifestyles for consumers.

Logistics functions that support people’s daily lives

We have a network of nine branches with logistics warehouses covering every region of Japan, from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south. We use these warehouses to store home-use products procured from our suppliers, before delivering them speedily and efficiently to a wide range of customers throughout Japan.

The manufacturing business – Handling upstream operations

Our manufacturing business handles production of the products that we supply for consumers, from the product planning and development stage onwards. Nakayamafuku Group companies with manufacturing functions include Greenpal Co., Ltd., Interform Inc., and Liv Plus Co., Ltd. We are promoting the development of the manufacturing capabilities of the Nakayamafuku Group as a whole by effectively utilizing the unique strengths of each individual company.

The wholesale business – Linking suppliers and customers

Our wholesale business delivers products sourced from suppliers to our customers, and offers product proposals. Building on the extensive array of information that we possess in relation to diversifying consumer needs, regional trends, etc., we provide optimal product proposals from among our suppliers’ products and our own Nakayamafuku Group products. The wholesale business currently links about 360 suppliers, located throughout Japan, with around 340 customers. Through our wholesale business, we are helping to enrich consumers’ lives.

The Nakayamafuku Trade Fair, which is held twice a year, brings suppliers and customers together. In recent years, over 100 suppliers have exhibited at the Trade Fair, and about 160 customers have visited it.

The e-commerce business – Delivering products to consumers

Our e-commerce business includes two segments: B2C e-commerce through the direct operation of our own e-commerce website, and B2B2C e-commerce, in which we handle wholesaling operations for customers who have an e-commerce business. The Nakayamafuku Group is working as one to develop both these e-commerce business segments through the sharing of information and know-how.
