Nakayamafuku Co., Ltd. was founded in March 1925 in the city of Osaka by Fukumatsu Nakayama as Nakayama Fukumatsu Shoten.
It was incorporated as a joint-stock company in 1947, and during Japan’s period of rapid economic growth it began doing business with home improvement stores and general merchandise stores, and has continued to grow since then, for example by focusing on the development of original products.
Nakayamafuku is currently adding new sales channels, such as mail-order sales and e-commerce, and will be celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025.

The Nakayamafuku Group focuses mainly on wholesaling of household products, undertaking the manufacturing of gardening products, and the planning and development of household interior products. It delivers home-use products to consumers through retailers and via e-commerce.
To function as a bridge for communication between suppliers and retailers in its role as a wholesaler, Nakayamafuku has worked to strengthen its logistics and warehousing functions, and since 1957 it has disseminated product- and sales-related information by holding the Nakayamafuku Trade Fair.

Besides its head offices in Osaka and Tokyo, Nakayamafuku has nine other branch offices and sales offices throughout Japan, enabling it to collaborate closely with suppliers in every part of the country.
Logistics warehouses play a vital role in ensuring speedy product delivery. Nakayamafuku has nine logistics hubs, from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, with a combined floor area of 87,246m2, and aims to “provide support and supply products so that people’s lives are not interrupted.”
Another key feature of Nakayamafuku’s operations is our ability to deliver home-use products of all shapes and sizes using the optimal, most efficient methods.
